anticipated: new MUSE album coming

at 4:07 PM

by Kate Harper (CHARTattack)

Muse may release their fifth studio album, which they've been working on since last summer, in September.

An "insider" with Warner Music U.K. told fan site Microcuts.net that the band will likely release the disc that month and follow it with a European tour. The follow-up to 2006's Black Holes And Revelations still doesn't have a title.

"It would be nice to have the album out in the second half of next year but we have not set ourselves any targets," bassist Chris Wolstenholme told fans on the Muse message board in November.

"It is more important for us to make the best album we have made to date and if that means it comes out in 2010 then we don't mind. Hopefully it will be sooner though."

Singer/guitarist Matthew Bellamy recently told Australian radio station Triple J that he'd written a song "in three parts, which I have been working on sporadically for many years," which he wants to be the final track on the upcoming album.

"As a large percentage is orchestral... I've been arranging the orchestral elements myself, which is taking a long time," he said.

JOON PYO: LEE MINHO

When I went to my audition I even permed my hair. I wanted to show them my determination. When I got the part, I felt that there was nothing in this world that could intimidate me. [laughs] I started my ‘ how to become full of myself luxury boy project’ around August when I got the role. JunpYo is a boy who can do EVERYTHING except he doesn’t know how to swim. He can ride horses, play golf, squash, piano.. I had to learn these during my practices. I even had to perm my hair 4 times to get this thing to look as it does now!

JunPyo is a really scary, violent, and has overflowing charimsa, but when he meets Geum Jandi, Junpyo becomes more human and loosens up, even men would look up to this kind of change.. I think..[laughs]

INTERVIEWER: “But don’t you think your height of 185cm is a bit too tall?”

Minho/JunpYo: “JUNPYO IS SUPPOSED TO BE 185 CENTIMETERS!! [laughs]”

Roger's Thank You

at 1:14 PM

Dear Fans

I would like to thank you for the overwhelming amount of messages and letters you sent me this past week. Losing the Australian Open final certainly hurt, but it is important to move on and focus on the challenges lying ahead. I feel fine and fit and am eager to get back on court. I have enjoyed a few days off, which was great, and will soon be training again.

Thank you once again for supporting me and giving me such a lot of positive input! A lot of you have noticed that my website was slow after the final Down Under. The reason for that was the enormous amount of traffic – more than we had ever experienced before. New hardware for the server has been ordered and will be installed as soon as possible so that you can enjoy rogerfederer.com without hassles in the future!

Kind regards
Roger

Rafa on Roger

"It was an emotional moment, and I think this also lifts up sport, to see a great champion like Federer expressing his emotions. It shows his human side. But in these moments, when you see a rival, who is also a comrade, feeling like this, you enjoy the victory a little bit less."

roger's post-match interview

at 7:03 PM

"I mean, I fought hard, you know. I mean, I think I played well. I'm happy with where my game's at. I wish my serve would have been better, but that's something that sometimes is a bit, you know, day‑form issue, you know. But, look, I mean, I love this game. It means the world to me, so it hurts when you lose."

"You can't go through your whole life as a tennis player taking every victory, you know, that's out there. You've got to live with those, you know. But they hurt even more so like if you're that close, you know, like at Wimbledon or like here at the Australian Open."

"It's more like, you know, in the first moment you're disappointed, you're shocked, you're sad, you know, then all of a sudden it overwhelms you. The problem is you can't go in the locker room and just take it easy and take a cold shower. You can't. You know, you're stuck out there. It's the worst feeling, you know.

So, I don't know, it's rough."

Q. Do you believe you still can beat him?

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, for sure. I didn't spend four and a half hours out there believing it.
